About Me

                                 


       I would like to take some time and give a little bit of information about myself. Since I was very very young, I had an interest in music and stories. Never did I believe that this interest would fallow me into my younger adult life. Though sports became a big part of my life music and storytelling never left. My first few years of college I struggled to find what path I would like to pursue. After taking my second sociology class on the sociological imagination, I made my decision. I am now looking to get my sociology degree. 

        Interestingly enough I never would put myself in the category of a very social person. Some might go as far as to say that I am an anti-social person as I keep to myself most of the time. However, I do find that learning about how society works is helpful with self-understanding, a reflection of actions,  and allows me to be a little less judgmental towards the way certain people act.

        Last year I traveled around Europe and the UK ending in London where I would spend four months studying. While I enjoyed my time, I decided that I needed a taste of an entirely different culture and language from the one that I grew up in, so I chose to study in Athens Greece. This is where I will spend my time from August 26th until late December.
